My photo impression of Vtwonen & design fair in Amsterdam

Pour raisons personnelles et familiales, je viens de passer encore une petite semaine aux Pays Bas. 

Puisque j'ai pu arriver le samedi, il me restait juste le dimanche pour aller voir le salon de la décoration et d'habitat Vtwonen & Design beurs à Amsterdam, car 'était son dernier jour.

 

For personal - and family reasons,  I just spend another week in the Netherlands. 

Seeing as I arrived on Saturday, I still had the Sunday to go see the design and interior fair Vtwonen & Design beurs in Amsterdam, because it was its' last day.

 

J'avais donné rendez-vous à une très bonne copine de La Haye et on s'est retrouvé à l'entrée, à l'heure d'ouverture. Ce salon est devenu une classique aux Pays Bas et donc ce fameux dimanche nous n'étions pas seules à se pointer à l'heure pour le découvrir, il y avait foule dans le hall d'entrée qui était déjà un régale pour les yeux. 

Après, il y avait plusieurs halls à aller découvrir mais on savait qu'il y avait surtout la maison du magazine Vtwonen qui fallait voir et visiter.

Je dis maison parce que c'est réellement dans la forme une maison que Vtwonen présentait l'ambiance de leur magazine, leurs marques préférées et aussi les meubles et accessoires de leur propre collection.

I had arranged to meet with a very good friend from The Hague and we met at the entrance just before opening hour. This fair has become a classic in the Netherlands and so that Sunday we were not the only ones to show up on time to visit it, in the lobby that was already a feast for the eyes there was a real crowd waiting to go in.
Next we discovered several halls to visit but we knew that it was the house of magazine vtwonen we wanted to go see and visit first.

I say house because it is actually in the forme of a real house that Vtwonen presented the atmosphere of the magazine, their favorite brands and also the furniture and accessories of their own collection.

Tout juste arrivé dans cette belle maison à visiter, on a vu de loin le styliste du magazine Frans Uyterlinde, qui commence à connaitre une certaine notoriété puisqu'il participe également à l’émission tv du magazine dans laquelle 4 stylistes réalise chaque semaine une véritable métamorphose d'une maison. Ma copine a une amie en commun avec lui et donc après me l'avoir présenté, nous avons passé presque une demie-heure à parler avec lui. J'étais ravie car j'avais déjà fait cet article sur lui dans ma mini-série sur les stylistes de Vtwonen. 

Il nous a raconté quelques détails de l'émission tv, son travail et il nous a montré sa pièce préférée de la maison Vtwonen, la serre en deux parties, une en bois et une deuxième en métal. 

Straight after arriving in this beautiful house to visit, we saw the magazines' interior stylist Frans Uyterlinde, who's starting to know some fame since he participates in the tv-show of Vtwonen in which interior designers realize a weekly metamorphosis of someone's home. My dear friend appeared to have a mutual friend with him and she presented me to him, we spent almost half an hour talking. I was delighted because I had already done this article on his work in my mini-series on the  stylists of Vtwonen.
He told us about some details of the tv-show, his work and he showed us his favorite room in the vtwonen house, the greenhouse with two parts, one of timber and another of metal.

J'étais ravie de retrouver cette jeune marque néerlandaise qui marche si bien. J'avais fait un article sur eux sur le blog déjà après les avoir découvert au salon Maison & Objet à Paris .

I was so pleased to find this very young Dutch brand who's going so strong. I had already done an article on them, after discovering them at the Masion & Objet fair in Paris two years ago,

 

Je ne peux que vous conseiller d'y aller un jour, c'est toujours un vrai plaisir pour les accros de la décoration.
Moi, je vais absolument essayer d'y retourner l'année prochaine !

I can only recommend you go and see this fair one day, it is a real joy for lovers of interior decorating and - design .
As fas as I'm concerned, I will absolutely try to go back next year !
